Mark Snider

Mr. Snider is currently the Chief of Inquiries and Audits for the U.S Department of Transportation Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance. He served as the Drug and Alcohol Program Manager for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) from January 1999 until July 2003.

Mr. Snider’s career began with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in 1987 as a Safety Investigator, with the responsibility of enforcing the FHWA regulations against private trucking companies. From 1991 to January 1999, he was the Drug and Alcohol Program Manager for the FHWA, which is now the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

He has presented at over 200 Drug and Alcohol Seminars and has authored and co-authored several papers and documents related to drug and alcohol programs in the DOT arena.

Mr. Snider graduated from Shippensburg University with a Master’s in Administration of Justice.
