Sandra Sullivan

Ms. Sullivan is the Deputy Director of Occupational Health Services responsible for the Drug and Alcohol Testing and Training Programs as well as the internal Employee Assistance Program for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) servicing 10,000 employees and their family members. Ms. Sullivan is a licensed clinician as well as a qualified Substance Abuse Professional. She has completed over one hundred SAP evaluations and supervises SAP’s on staff at the Employee Assistance Program.

Throughout her tenure with the MBTA/MassDOT, Ms. Sullivan has overseen the second chance program for mandated employees with Federal and/or company drug and alcohol violations. Additionally Ms. Sullivan conducts trainings in Reasonable Suspicion and Fitness for Duty throughout the MBTA and MassDOT.

For over twenty years Ms. Sullivan has provided clinical services in the field of substance abuse treatment, education and prevention. Prior to coming to the MBTA, Ms. Sullivan was the Clinical Director at the CAB Boston Treatment Center, a clinician at Norcap and an individual therapist.
