Jeff Waxman has been in the public transportation industry for 35 years. He started his transit career as an intern for the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). He also held internships with UMTA, and the CTA. After graduating from college, Jeff worked 11 years for Pace. Jeff rejoined IDOT in 2000 as a project Manager. His responsibilities include assisting the Section 5311 Rural Transit Grantees in complying with the FMCSA’s and FTA’s Drug and Alcohol testing program along with other program requirements.
