Andre Welsh is the Director of Risk Management at Greater New Haven Transit District located in Hamden, CT. GNHTD provides integrated paratransit service to elderly and disabled residents. The agency also serves as a conduit of federal and state funding for transportation related infrastructure projects.Prior to his role as Director of Risk Management, Mr. Welsh served as Manager of Safety and Security of GNHTD. He has an innate passion for implementing and executing programs and initiatives geared towards creating a safety-based culture and a drug and alcohol-free workplace.Mr. Welsh currently serves as a Director and one of the founding members of the Helpful Hearts Organization tasked with aiding orphaned and under privileged children in Jamaica.
