Mr. Fontanella is an auditor and audit team leader with Cahill Swift and has been a part of the FTA's Drug and Alcohol Compliance Auditing Program since 2017. With a background in the technology sector, Mr. Fontanella has brought a sharp eye for process improvement to the program and has helped numerous FTA grantees find efficient ways to maintain ongoing compliance with drug and alcohol testing requirements. Trent is an outdoor sports enthusiast, and, in addition to thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, has canoed the length of the Mississippi River from its headwaters in northern Minnesota to New Orleans.
